The first scenes

 We began filming the first few scenes for our films yesterday. These few scenes are very important because they will be giving our audience a good idea of how the main character acts in school. The type of person he is and how responsible and resourceful he could be. These scenes are revolved around the average student's day after the start of covid. This is why the scene starts with an alarm to alert him to go into his virtual classroom. We tried to make it as realistic as possible. We have to fake a zoom call meeting and make all our actors join. We also have to get the lighting correct because some of us primarily use LED lights and that doesn't provide us with the correct amount of lighting for the film. The different angles were also challenging for us to complete. Being that we have to make the camera angles look natural. It should look as if the sun just came up so we have to try to either get the shot in the morning or try to recreate the lighting in a different way. A...

On October 30 I began editing the clips i had together. When I began thinking about the time limit the commercial had to be I realized I may have to cut some of the clips out. Like the interviews and the transitioning from their words to them doing it. To begin with I started editing on an app on my phone. The app called Videoshop.This allowed me to add music and add all the clips together I put all the clips together to make sure I had enough time to meet the requirements of thirty seconds. When I made sure I had enough time I downloaded the clips and the clip I preedited to my loptop. I then trimmed and cut anything I didn't think was needed or was excess. After I finished the first draft of editing I saw I was low on time. This space allowed me to add more clips to show off the PlayStation. Art of the title website

  When I first opened this wed page, I was immediately greeted with a variety of different title fonts as it seems to be for different subjects. One thing in particular is the color choice/ font type for each genre of film. Horror, or scary films, for example are usually black and white with a bold text while comedic films are usually in a wacky font with vibrant colors. I learned that title sequences give a great general idea to the mood of the film, those with color are likely to be fast paced and ecstatic while those with generally less color are more gradual. Additionally, there is some kind of theme, for example, a film based around a snow storm would probably have a rugged white font similar to ice and have a snowy background. Finally,  the title sequences typically have corresponding music to the feel of the sequence, wether it be fast, slow, comedic or horrific.
