Working

After we finished filming the scene when he is talking to his find about the practice and the big game the next day. The main character gets a call from his boss from work, and the boss asks him can he come in. He tries to tell them that he's a little busy. Before he could finish speaking he is cut off and begged to come in. As he wants to please everyone to the best of his ability he finally gives in.

During these scenes, we get to see more of the character's attitude. As we have seen in the basketball scene and in this scene the main character has a very hard time saying "no" or speaking up for himself. Even though it may affect him and some ways. As the basketball may inflict how good his work will come out for class. Also, how going to work may inflict how long he can practice. All of these activities will eventually catch up to him and begin to wear him down.

There were a few problems when we were working on the scene. One of the problems was how were we going to put the boss and the main character speaking back and forth to each other. We searched up how other movies did it and took some inspiration from it to come to the conclusion of what is shown in the project. Another problem was where to film rather it be outside the court or in our rooms or somewhere in between. We try to make it clash with the scene that was just filmed before this one.

We are trying to use the beginning of the film to show what the "movie" would be about if there was going to be one. Trying to grab the watchers' attention by building anticipation about what is going to happen. About the final strike. If or when will he learn to speak up and defend yourself. Anything that would help sell these tickets and help influence our productions. While trying to look back on other projects and take some influence from them.
